First Visit

What Should I Expect?

Here are answers to the questions first-time guests ask most often.

How long is the service?
Our Sunday worship service lasts approximately 75 minutes.
What should I wear?
Come just as you are. You will see everything from jeans and casual attire to coats and dresses. We are much more interested in getting to know you than what you are wearing.
What kind of worship music can I expect?
Our services feature a blend of contemporary worship songs, Southern Gospel favorites, and timeless hymns presented with fresh arrangements. Our desire is that every song points hearts to Christ and prepares us to hear God’s Word.
Is there something for my children?
Absolutely. Children’s Church is available during the worship service, with age-appropriate Bible teaching, worship, and activities in a safe, caring environment.
What happens when I arrive?
One of our ushers will direct you to the Welcome Center. A volunteer will greet you and invite you to complete a brief Visitor Card so we can learn how Faith Baptist can best serve you and your family.
Will anyone contact me afterward?
You may receive a handwritten welcome card and occasional information about events your family may enjoy. We promise not to overwhelm you with unwanted communication.
Can I meet the pastor?
Absolutely. After each Sunday morning service, you are invited to enjoy homemade cookies while meeting Pastor Gary Williams and his wife, Sherry. It is a brief, informal opportunity to ask questions, get acquainted, and receive prayer if desired.
Our Foundation

What We Believe

Faith Baptist Church is committed to the truth of God’s Word and the historic Christian faith. Everything we teach and do is rooted in the Bible and centered on the gospel of Jesus Christ.

  • The Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God.
  • There is one true God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
  • Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died for our sins, rose again, and offers eternal life to all who place their faith in Him.
  • Salvation is by God’s grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ—not by our own works.
  • Every person is created in the image of God and has immeasurable value.
  • The local church exists to worship God, make disciples, love others, and share the hope of Jesus Christ.
